The Syrian War

The Syrian War is moving into it's next phase according to the head of Russia's Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev. After the "failure" of the Arab League monitors to openly call for military intervention, there is probably going to be a referral to the UN Security Council for a No-Fly Zone. After the Libyan debacle, do not count on Russia abstaining again. Facing vetos in the UNSC, the planners at NATO are finding themselves deciding between continuing the covert war which they have not been winning despite many ambushes and even derailing a train, or act unilaterally and declare war on Syria in order to provide its operatives with the Air Support that "The West's" forces are utterly dependent upon.

They cannot achieve victory without Full Spectrum Dominance. This risks open conflict with Russia, as they are not at all willing to let NATO march in and turn that place into a basket case, too. Propaganda is working overtime to legitimize this bloody coup d'etat as you can see in the mainstream media. It's only a matter of time now, and I predict there will be some type of western airpower operating over Syria within the next 90 days, else the operation will be a loss and the "rebels" defeated. Tehran will retain it's longtime ally and Hezbollah will be as dug in and frontally unapproachable as ever for Israel. As I've mentioned before, without the approach through the Bekaa Valley being secured, Hezbollah (A Key Iranian Ally) cannot be neutralized.
